It addresses the Old West’s sheriffs’ ideal: that one day guns will not be needed in the New World – a civilized society. People, then, will solve differences through negotiation. But now that the New World is here, the play asks the question “why do we still use guns for reasons other than hunting food? The play looks at the positives and negatives. The play is being direct by Judith Simon-Butler.To purchase tickets, call (706) 722-0598 or visit our website at www.augustaminitheatre.com.The cast members are Mini Theatre’s students in drama and African/Modern classes.
