26th annual Colonial Times A Day to Remember

Venue or organization: 

Come learn how life and times were from 1735 to 1785. Watch our Colonial past come to life through demonstrations and living exhibits. Try your hand at Colonial dancing or see if you are fit to join the militia. Featured attractions include Apothecary, pottery, weaving and spinning, candle making, churning butter, musket firing demonstrations, gunsmithing, blacksmithing, needlework, woodworking, and meat smoking and curing. Be sure to stop by and visit with the Indian traders, Baker, Potter, backwoodsmen, milliner, Tavern Keeper, Village Mercantile, New Windsor Cabinet Shop, Colonial Garden, and Sensory Garden. Special guests will be George and Martha Washington, Ben Franklin, Irish Linen worker, Faire Wynds, Rat Catcher, Punch and Judy, and many more. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22.
