History Tech Summer Day Camp

Date:

Monday, July 17, 2017 - 9:00 am

Have you ever thought about how the telegraph paved the way for the cellphone? How about how sound waves work? Have you ever made a steam engine? If this sounds amazing, then this is the summer camp for you! Kids from 5th grade to high school will explore the fascinating connections between history and technology. This camp operates on the maker-space model -- it is hands on and very experimental. Maker activities will be spaced out with hikes and other outdoor experiences. Kids bring their lunch; we provide 2 snacks each day.
