January 19 – March 3   Reception Jan 19   6:00-8:00pm open to the publicWe are pleased to welcome Luke Andrews back to North Augusta with a great collection of his work in our main gallery.  After growing up here he has travelled extensively and lived in Italy for many years.  He now has galleries in Central Florida and Savannah, Georgia.  Luke is an award winning photographer and painter born in Leesburg, Florida.  Best known for his vibrant cityscapes and landscapes, his medium of choice is acrylic paint on canvas.Wesley L. Stewart began experimenting with sculpture and metalwork while working in his family business in Augusta.  His public sculptures can be found on the campus of the University of North Georgia, in Dahlonega, in Lakeland and in Kissimmee, Florida as well as throughout downtown Augusta.Darlene Williams in Balcony galleryIn our balcony gallery we are excited to welcome native Augustan Darlene Williams.  She specializes in abstract works, adding texture to create energy and interest.  Using color, imaginative subjects and beautiful objects her works are dreamlike and open to the viewer for interpretation.  This collection of her work shows an artist full of imagination.The AHC is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm., and is located inside the North Augusta Municipal Building at 100 Georgia Ave., on the first floor.  For more information, contact the AHC at 803-441-4380.
